PSALM 115:17‭-‬18> The dead do not praise the Lord , Nor do any who go down into silence; But as for us, we will bless and affectionately and gratefully      praise the Lord  From this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord ! (Hallelujah!)  AMP Part 1

Those that are dead don't praise God. There are three kinds of death we must examine. There is physical death , spiritual death, and eternal death.             Anyone who has experienced any of these forms of death cannot praise God. When you are physically dead your soul separates from your body, you         are no longer alive and able to praise and worship God. So that is why we should give God praise while we are yet alive.
God tell us that we we should praise Him while we are living, He says to us in PSALM 146:2 AMP,  "While I live I will praise the Lord ; I will sing praises to      my God as long as I live.

Luke 4:42> At daybreak Jesus went out to a solitary place. The people were looking for Him and when they came to where He was, they tried to keep Him from leaving them.

Prayer: Jesus, if You needed to take time with God to stay focused, then I know I need to make a point of spending time with God, too. Thank You for        this reminder today. Help me to keep time with You at the top of my priorities. In Your Name, Amen.

Isaiah 29:13> The Lord says, “These people come to honor me with words, but I am not really important to them. The worship they give me is nothing but human rules they have memorized. ERV

According to Psalms 50:16‭-‬17‭, ‬19 NLT, But God says to the wicked: “Why bother reciting my decrees and pretending to obey my covenant? For you refuse my discipline and treat my words like trash. Your mouth is filled with wickedness, and your tongue is full of lies. God says to the righteous in John 4:24 NLT, For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

Ephesians 4:30> And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, He has identified you as His own, guaranteeing that you          will be saved on the day of redemption. NLT

God is talking to and warning believers in Christ Jesus not to grieve and bring sadness to God’s Holy Spirit by living unrighteously. All those who say they      possess the Spirit of God must live a Holy life because God is Holy and He expects the same from those who say they are His children. God tells us in            Roman's 12:1 NLT, "And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living    and holy sacrifice—the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him.

EPHESIANS 4:18> "For their [moral] understanding is darkened and their reasoning is clouded; [they are] alienated and self-banished from the life of God [with no share in it; this is] because of the [willful] ignorance and spiritual blindness that is [deep-seated] within them, because of the hardness and insensitivity of their heart." AMP

God speaks about the spiritually dead unbeliever. When you are spiritually dead you can be physically alive but your soul has been separated from God, meaning that sin has caused you to be separated from God. The person that is spiritually dead is an unbeliever, sin has caused them to be cut off from God, they don't know God neither have accepted His Son therefore that person won't praise Him because you don't know Him.

and justice to all who are treated unfairly

PSALM 115:18> As for us, we will bless and affectionately and gratefully praise the Lord  From this time forth and forever. Praise the Lord ! (Hallelujah!)        AMP Part 2

On the other hand, for those who have accepted God through His Son Jesus are alive and are not silent but praise God with gladness. Those who are           alive in God do as Psalms 115: 17 AMP says, "But as for us, we will bless and affectionately and gratefully praise the Lord  From this time forth and                forever. Praise the Lord ! (Hallelujah!)" Do as Psalms 146:2 says which is "I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying      breath. NLT).
