Matthew 5:2> Then Jesus opened His mouth and taught them, saying: NKJV
“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. “Blessed are the poor in spirit, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

James 1:2-4> My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. NKJV,
In Matthew 5:1-11 known as the Beatitudes, Jesus shares with us as His followers how to respond when we face times of trouble and Jesus allows us to know that God will take care of us. God is saying when we face those situations listed below in the Beatitudes that we must count them as a blessing and count it all joy. When we face theses situations God wants us to respond with joy, the right attitude, and look at these situations as a blessing.

Matthew 3:1-3> “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. ” The prophet Isaiah was speaking about John when he said, “He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord ’s coming! Clear the road for Him!’” NLT
As Saints of God, you must be peculiar, bold, and radical for God like John to help lead others to Christ. The Saints of God have to be a voice crying out in this wilderness and wild world that we live in. Saints of God must tell people to repent and accept Jesus because the Kingdom of God is near. Jesus tells us in Mark 1:14-15 (NKJV),Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

Matthew 1:20-21> For the child within her was conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” NLT
One man named Jesus, purposely born to save all mankind from sin and give us all new life. Jesus birth truly allows us to know how much God truly loves us that He would send one man into this world to saves us all. We serve a mighty God!

Proverbs 22:6> Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. NKJV,
The way that God is speaking to parents to train their children in is Jesus. In John 14:6 Jesus allows us to know that He is the Way, the Truth, the Life; and that no one can come to the Father(God) except through Him. So parents have a responsibility to teach their children about Jesus, it is their God given duty.
