James 4:2-3> You have not, because you ask not. You ask, and receive not, because you ask with wrong motives.

Are all your needs met? According to the Word of God, it's either because you're not praying about them at all or because when you do pray, you're            praying wrong.
What does it mean to pray wrong? In many cases it simply means to pray without expecting results. Stop praying just because it's proper. Stop praying      just because you always pray at this point. And start praying to get results. Pray in the Name of Jesus, according to the Word of God, and expect to              receive what you ask for every  time.

2 Corinthians 4:18> While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Keep your eyes on the Word. God doesn't consider our ability when He asks us to do things. Gods purpose doesn't consider our circumstance as we do.
God doesn't expect us to fulfill that call; He intends to do it Himself through our faith in His word. He intends to provide the power, the resources, the ability.....EVERYTHING!
All He expects us to do is believe and obey! We have to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Colossians 3:2> Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Many of us have learned to believe God to prosper us to such a degree that we have too much to keep up with. We end up spending so much time and      energy taking care of the legitimate “things” of life that we unconsciously give the attention and affections of our heart over to this natural world instead      of to God. It takes a lot more dedication to serve God when you’re prosperous than it takes when you’re desperate! There’s a constant temptation to get      so caught up in the earthly things that your desire for the things of God fades into the background.
Don’t let the things of this world cause you to miss out on the glorious things of the spirit. Get your priorities in line with God’s Word. Set your mind on        things above, and you’ll discover just how heavenly life was really meant to be!

Romans 8:16> The Spirit itself [Himself] bears witness with our spirit.
Do you ever have trouble hearing from God? Do you find yourself caught in confusing circumstances needing guidance, and yet even after praying and    reading the Word—you're still not sure what God wants you to do? What holds us back is our ability to know that if what were doing is the right thing.      God's written Word and the inward witness are two different things. They never contradict each other, but they're both a vital part of our walk with God.
Romans 8 says the Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit. That means that God's directions come from inside. At times when you hear His guidance,      you may even wonder, Was that me, Lord, or was that You? That's because God doesn't normally inject thoughts directly into your mind from the              outside. Instead, He speaks to your spirit, and your spirit translates it into a thought.
After you're born again, your spirit is a safe guide because you are born of God's Spirit. You have His nature. And the Holy Spirit lives in your spirit to          teach you and to give you direction

Proverbs 4:7-8,> For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.... Prize Wisdom highly and exalt her, and she will exalt and promote you; she will bring you to honor when you embrace her.  The Amplified Bible

Put the Word of God first place in your daily life. God says that wisdom is the “principal thing.” Principal means “first in importance.” That means the Word of God needs to occupy the place of highest importance in all of your activities. Set other things aside. Invest your time in the Word first and that investment will soon be paying off in every area of your life.

Hebrews 4:16> Come boldly unto the throne of grace, that [you] may obtain"

According to the Word of God, you have a standing invitation from your heavenly Father to "come boldly unto the throne of grace, that [you] may obtain" That word obtain is a word of certainty. The dictionary says it means "to get possession of." So pray, expecting to get possession of what you need,
When you go to God in accurate, Word of God-based, Spirit-inspired prayer, you do know what He's going to do. He's going to answer you. He's going to meet your need exactly as you asked Him. Start expecting Him to do it.

Numbers 23:19> "God is not a man, that He should lie

I have heard many people say the expression "the man upstairs" but this passage of Scripture clearly tells us that God is not a man. John 4:24 God is            Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." We must build a true relationship with the Father that we may know the attributes      and characteristics of who He truly is, that we may truly worship Him in spirit and in truth just as the word instructs us and what He is truly deserving of.
