A CHRISTmas Message
(A CHRISTmas Message) Why Jesus truly Came into the world.
" [🎵] Joy to the world the Lord has come [🎵] ", but for what? This is what we need to get down to, And this⬇️ Article does just that.
For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said,
“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”
8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the *Mosaic law), 9 then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. - Hebrews 10:1-10
Jesus Christ did not come into the world to make the common religious sacrifice of animals that men were making. Because these sacrifices were not at God's heart desire, and did not ultimately please or appease God either. Animal sacrifices were only meant to be temporary and symbolic until the Messiah would come to be the True Sacrifice, and Jesus showed Himself to be this Messiah, Son of the Living God.
What Christ Jesus did come into the world to do is, The Will of God who sent Him. Which included very importantly, not the sacrifice of an bull or goat which truly did not take away sins. But rather Himself as a ultimate bodily Sacrifice once and for all, for all times and especially for all who believe, and this made Him the true Lamb of God who's sacrifice would take away Sins and God's judgement off of all who truly Repent & Believe. And this indeed pleased God and permanently sanctified and cleansed all the People of God which trust in His word, & believe on Jesus Christ.
And this is also impactful to us in this dispensation because though we are commanded to obey the word of our Lord in Scripture. We are not to do it with a mentality of common religion but we should rather be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. And in this God will make known to us that which is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God for our life and everyday lives as well as shine a light of understanding on His word.
And Now let the Joy of Christmas/Christ-Birth & Coming ring the joy bell of your Heart regularly, and not only on December 25th's man made tradition.
