Jesus came preaching ;
Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven(God) is at hand.- Matthew 4; 17
* This is like saying, HEY EVERYBODY LISTEN UP ((REPENT!!)) BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT GOD HAS BEGAN TO DO AT THIS TIME, * AND THIS IS WHAT IS AND HAS BEEN GOING ON, * AND FINALLY THIS IS HOW ITS All GOING TO END.
We learn all of this from the parables Jesus told about the kingdom, Jesus would commonly say the Kingdom of Heaven is like this, or like that and He would liken The Kingdom of God to a natural thing or situation but in this story or scenario He would tell He would actually be teaching the people about the Kingdom of God, which we find out is actually him teaching about What God is about to do, what is and has already been going on, and How all of these things are going to end.
Now lets break down this parable in Matthew 13; 47-50
Verse 47- The Net - Represents the Church age meaning the time or era in between Christ resurrection and Return for judgement. BUT THE NET PRIMARILY REPRESENTS THE END OF THE CHURCH AGE. Reference Scriptures; (Matthew 28;20) makes reference to The Age we are in. (Acts 17; 3) makes reference to the ending of The Age speaking of a fixed day God will judge all by Christ.
The Sea - represents the world of people throughout all generations, all people throughout time who have ever lived. -(1 Peter 4; 5) He will judge those who are alive and who have died, from the first generation to ever live to the last generation who will ever live.
All Kinds of Fish - people from all different walks of life, and nationalities. Also within these different kind of fish some are Righteous and some are wicked this is part of them different kinds as well. Scripture Reference; (Matthew 25; 32) refers to all nations are gathered, Malachi 3; 18 - and some of them are Righteous and some are wicked in the "sea" or world.
Verse. 48 – The beginning/ -The Net being full represents the Last generation who will be born in which God will draw the Last of His elect out. The last generation to be born or rise up will fill the net. (Almost like waiting on the last kid to get in the car before you drive off to your final destination.) Scripture reference; -Romans 11; 25-28
The Shore and the sitting down- Represents the climax of the end times before the final judgement, things like but not limited to: The Persecution of the saints, Judgement's poured out on the earth, the earthly judgement's poured out on ungodly people. -(Revelation 16;1) (Revelation 6; 15-17) (Revelation 20; 4)
Verse 48-49 THE SEPARATION OF THE GOOD AND THE BAD.
Jesus himself interprets the parable from this point on, letting it be known that there will be a separation that will take place. In which the Ungodly people(Fish) will be taken and thrown away from God into the Eternal pit of Fire where there will be loud crying and grinding of the teeth because of the pain, while the godly people who have repented and live by faith in Christ are separated for God’s pleasure and their eternal joy which in the parable is mentioned as vessels or containers the good fish was put in for the Head Fisherman liking.
Friends and Brethren if You understand this parable you will understand a great deal about the end times.
To sum it up; A time is coming at the end(the Net) when at the end of this time all people from all generations will be gathered from the first generation ever to the last one there will ever be(The Sea), and all the generations come from different nationalities and backgrounds and some are Righteous and some are Wicked(Every Kind of Fish). And there was a climax of end times events such as many things spoke of in the book of Revelation like; the Saints persecution and earthly judgements on the ungodly, and earth(The net being pulled to Shore/& and the sitting down. The gathering and separation Jesus interprets Himself, but in a nutshell it represents the ungodly being separated for Eternal Punishment and the Holy ones being separated for Eternal Joy and glory because the Lord was pleased with us.
This is one of the parables about How the end will be.
